Richard Barnes will be joining us for our next Lunchtime Talk to share stories from his journals written during his paddle from here in Hobart to Riverton, on the South Island of New Zealand. Richard was the first person to kayak solo, non-stop and unassisted across the Tasman Sea in a journey that lasted 67 days and covered over 2000km.

Richard will tell us of the highlights and lowlights of living on the ocean, sharing his private notes of triumphs, disasters and trip statistics.
