People will be guided through the Maritime Museum, and then
the Colonial Gallery, where some of the important colonial painting
of Hobart, whaling and the sea will be interpreted. The walk
will then take people out into the port area, via Hunter Street
(the old causeway to Hunter Island).
The walk then
continues on to Victoria and Constitution Docks where the Maritime
Museum's first floating exhibit, the 1867 trading ketch May
Queen, may be seen, finishing at the Abel Tasman Memorial in Salamanca
Place.
