In this edition we celebrate the reopening of the museum following the COVID lockdown. While the main, Carnegie Gallery, is still undergoing redevelopment, two exhibitions were opened in the ground floor gallery - Writing and the Sea and, in the new temporary exhibition space, a Bill Mearns retrospective, Under the Spell of the Sea. We also asked various people around the museum to explore a favourite or notable object from the collections, resulting in an interesting selection of stories.
