Welcome to the 2018 Tasmanian Art Quilt Prize, opened by Dr Dianne Snowden AM.

The theme for this year's exhibition is ‘Ebb and Flow’ and an exciting new category of ‘Textile Sculpture’ has been introduced. This most prestigious event is organised by a dedicated group from the Tasmanian Quilting Guild Inc. Entrants were invited from across Australia and twenty-five art quilt finalists and 8 textile sculptures form this wonderful exhibition.

The Art Quilt Prize is sponsored by Bernina Australia and is a cash prize of $3,000.

The Textile Sculpture Prize is sponsored by the Tasmanian Quilting Guild.
